AlertMedia: Building SE Infrastructure From the Ground Up
2026 – PresentChallenge
Scale a global Solutions Engineering org to match aggressive revenue growth targets while modernizing legacy pre-sales motions.
Approach
Built discovery frameworks, solution design templates, demo environments, and integration playbooks. For team hiring and development, created job descriptions, compensation structures, structured interview guides, and success criteria. Began piloting AI-powered SE workflows org-wide.
Result
Establishing a repeatable, scalable technical selling motion across the organization. Work in progress.
Affirm: Scaling Partnerships Across a $4B+ Ecosystem
2022 – 2026Challenge
Support enterprise platform and PSP partners, including ecommerce platforms, payment processors, and digital wallets, across omnichannel environments with no standardized integration approach.
Approach
Built and scaled a global pre/post-sales SE org. Led a cross-functional tiger team across Product, Engineering, and Sales to define preferred integration blueprints and partner certification frameworks. Also built the hiring foundation for the team, drafting role scorecards, compensation bands, interview frameworks, and clear criteria for what success looked like at each level.
Result
Standardized, repeatable partner onboarding at enterprise scale.
LeanDNA: Founding & Scaling an SE Function From Zero
2017 – 2022Challenge
No SE function existed. A supply chain analytics platform needed technical credibility with Aerospace & Defense and industrial manufacturing buyers.
Approach
Founded the SE function as the company’s first hire. Built standardized solution design templates, a centralized RFP repository, and a modular demo environment. As the team grew beyond a single person, put in place the hiring pieces needed to scale it responsibly, including job descriptions, pay structures, interview processes, and defined success benchmarks.
Result
A repeatable technical selling motion that scaled with the company.
Atlassian: Standardizing Technical Selling Across a Product Portfolio
Challenge
A lack of standardized technical selling motions across Atlassian’s product suite led to longer sales cycles and left prospects confused about solution fit.
Approach
Established standardized technical selling playbooks to support a portfolio of different products.
Result
Faster pipeline velocity, improved win rates, and reduced post-sales implementation time.
Samsung Austin Semiconductor: Manufacturing Process Optimization
2011 – 2017Challenge
Improve throughput and reduce downtime across a high-volume 14nm+ wafer fabrication environment.
Approach
Engineered product balancing methods, automated test wafer processes, and led cross-site collaboration between Samsung Austin and Korea using Python, SQL, Spotfire, and JMP.
Result
Measurable throughput gains and downtime reductions at scale.
